The pages on this website explain the care DanShalom Behavioral Clinic provides and the conditions it treats. They are general information for patients and families, not medical advice or a diagnosis. This page explains how they are written and kept accurate.
Who writes and publishes the pages
The pages are published by DanShalom Behavioral Clinic. They are written for the clinic by its website team, eSEOspace, from the public health sources listed below, and the clinic’s own facts (address, hours, licences, insurance and fees) come from the clinic.
Sources we use
Health statements are based on public sources from government agencies and professional organizations, chiefly the National Institute of Mental Health, MedlinePlus (National Library of Medicine), SAMHSA, the VA National Center for PTSD, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Each health page lists the specific pages it relies on under “References”.
Clinical review
Each health page will show the name of the clinician who reviewed it, Victor Onodjacha, MSN, PMHNP-BC, and the date of that review. Until a page carries a “Reviewed by” line, it has been checked against its listed sources but has not yet been reviewed by our provider.
How we write about medication and treatment
- We name medication classes, such as SSRIs, rather than brand names, and we do not give doses.
- We never promise a particular medication or result. Treatment is decided with each patient after an evaluation.
- We say plainly that the provider is a nurse practitioner, not a physician.
- Every condition page says when outpatient care is not enough and where to get urgent help.
Keeping pages current
Every page shows the date it was last updated. Health pages are re-read against their sources at least once a year. Crisis phone numbers are re-checked every three months on each organization’s own website.
