How insurance works here
- Tell us your planChoose your plan on the request form or tell us by phone. You do not need to send your member ID through the website.
- We verify your benefitsBefore your first visit we check whether the clinic is in your plan's network and what your plan says you owe: a copay, coinsurance, or the full rate until a deductible is met.
- You know the cost firstWe tell you what we found before your visit. Your insurance company makes the final decision on what it pays, so it is also worth calling the number on your card.

Self-pay rates
If you do not have insurance, or choose not to use it, these are the clinic’s rates. A sliding scale is available: ask us when you request an appointment.
New patient
$200
Initial psychiatric evaluation, about 60 minutes
Returning patient
$125
Follow-up visit, about 30 minutes
What is the cancellation and no-show policy?
Your appointment time is reserved for you. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, by phone, voicemail (the time it was left counts) or the secure patient portal.
| Situation | Fee |
|---|---|
| Cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice | No fee |
| Cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice | $150 |
| No-show: missed without notice, or more than 15 minutes late | $200 for an initial visit, $100 for a follow-up |
- Insurance does not pay for missed appointments, so these fees are paid out of pocket.
- A valid credit or debit card is kept on file, and a fee is charged within 12 to 24 hours of the missed appointment.
- Fees may be waived at the provider’s discretion for a medical or family emergency, severe weather or other unforeseen events.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
